Comfort, berths, self-contained options, quality and workmanship.
When comparing RVs, consider the comfort level that suits your travel style, the number of berths you require for your crew, and whether a self-contained unit or a sleeper best fits your adventure plans. We break down these crucial features to help you choose wisely.
Ensure everything works. Test all elecrical items both inside and out. Check that fridges run and get cold, air-conditioning works, water systems work, wastewater pumps go and check all light fittings. Check that all cupoards and drawers work and lock. Check that all furniture that moves or transforms into something else works smoothly. Check that gas appliances. such as cooking, water heating and central heating work. Do not be afraid to ask questions and take your time. You may also want to get the RV indipendintly checked, especially if it is used.
Finally make sure the vehicle has a current electrical certificate for 230v connection and a gas certificate.

Essential after-sales service
After-sales service is just as important as the initial purchase. Learn what to look for in a supplier's warranty, maintenance, and support services to ensure peace of mind on the road. A great RV experience begins with excellent backing from your provider.
Dealers selling new and used vehicles in New Zealand are, by law, required to offer a limited warranty of a minimum duration. This is based on vehicle age, new or used. We would highly recommend getting an extended waranty for your vehicle as this can pay off in the long run. This is one of the main reasons buying from a dealer makes sence. Also enqure where you can get you RV fixed or serviced before purchase. To ensure parts availability in the future stick to popular brands.
To personalize your RV, customization is an option. See the Accessory section or ask the dealer for options.
